HCM Certificate of Completion
ASE is offering a Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) Certificate of Completion. This two-part program is designed for sonographers and fellows-in-training. The Do-it-Yourself (DIY) portion of the certificate must be completed at the ASE 2025 Scientific Sessions in Nashville, TN or at a regional event with locations TBD in 2025.
ASE Scientific Sessions
To earn the certificate at the ASE Scientific Sssions, you must register to attend the ASE Scientific Sessions and also sign up to attend one of the three HCM Certificate DIY sessions (additional $30) being offered on Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6. The DIY session allows participants to practice the evaluation of HCM focusing on correct measurements, gradient evaluation, and scanning techniques.
There are also pre-requisite modules that need to be completed in the ASE Learning Hub to obtain the HCM Certificate of Completion. After registering for the HCM DIY session, an email will be sent with details on how to access and complete the pre-requisite modules. The Certificate of Completion will be provided after completion of both sections, after the ASE Scientific Sessions.
Already Registered for the Scientific Sessions, but want to add the HCM DIY session now? Email Registrar@ASEcho.org for instructions.
